This position reports to Director

Key Responsibilities

  • - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a childcare setting
  • - Assist with create and implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
  • - Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
  • - Assist with diaper changes and potty training
  • - Monitor and promote positive behavior and social interactions
  • - Communicate with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
  • - Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare area
  • -Assist classroom teacher and director with other duties as assigned.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Preferred

  • Candidates without preferred experience, etc. are still encouraged to apply if they are open to being trained.
  • High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.

Educational Preferences

  • High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

  • Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
